Prior to commencing full-time work with his father, Michael worked for one year in Commercial Banking at Capital One Bank on their Agency Finance platform as an analyst. Michael supported a high-performing originator and was responsible for making credit and underwriting decision for loan submissions to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In this role, Michael screened over a $1B in loan volume and became familiar with underwriting standards for agency lending. Michael still retains relationships at Capital One and other lending institutions.
